501(c)(3) Nonprofit helping young athletes earn their shot.
Far From Over is built around sports, mentorship, accountability, and real opportunity — giving young athletes the structure and support to write a stronger next chapter.
Far From Over is a sports-focused nonprofit built on a simple belief: a young athlete’s environment should never decide the limits of their future.
We use football, baseball, boxing, mentorship, training support, and community partnerships to create a foundation young athletes can stand on — in the game and in life.
This movement is for the young athlete who has talent, heart, and hunger — but needs the right support system to keep moving forward.
Far From Over gives young athletes from tough environments access to sports, mentorship, discipline, equipment, training, and the real-life support they need to grow beyond the game.
Our vision is to create a world where every young athlete, no matter their background, has access to the structure, support, and opportunity they need to build confidence, discipline, and a future beyond the game.
Nothing here is given. Every opportunity, every resource, and every shot we provide comes with an expectation that you show up, put in the work, and earn it. Discipline and consistency are not optional. They are the foundation of everything we build here.
We hold our athletes to a standard and we hold ourselves to one too. That means taking ownership of your actions, your decisions, and your future. On the field and off it. No excuses. No shortcuts. Just honest effort and a commitment to growth every single day.
Sports are the vehicle. Life is the destination. We are not just developing athletes, we are developing young people who know how to lead, how to handle adversity, how to show up for others, and how to build a future they can be proud of. What happens beyond the game is what Far From Over is truly about.
Setbacks are part of the journey. What matters is how you respond. We teach athletes to use adversity as fuel, to turn pressure into progress and hard moments into the building blocks of something stronger. There is strength in your story.
Far From Over was created to be a helping hand for young athletes who need direction, structure, and opportunity. For many kids, sports are more than competition — they are a safe place, a reason to stay committed, and a bridge to a stronger future.
Our role is to create environments where young athletes are pushed with care, surrounded by mentors, and reminded that where they start does not have to be where they finish.
I grew up in Jackson, Tennessee. Nothing was ever given to me and I never expected it to be. I was raised by a single mother who poured everything she had into me. We didn’t always have everything we needed but the people who showed up for us made all the difference. That stuck with me. It still does.
Sports was my everything. Baseball, football — I was a multi-sport athlete my whole life. It gave me structure when I needed it, purpose when I was searching for it, and a platform I never took for granted. In 8th grade I was waking up at 3am to work out in a shed with flashlights. No fancy facility. No trainer. Just me, the dark, and a dream I refused to let go of. I always wanted better. I always believed I could change my circumstances. Sports was my way out. My dream was always to play Division I football. I signed NAIA out of high school but I never stopped pushing toward that goal. Most people said it wouldn’t happen. I did it anyway. I made it to Division I football. I accomplished what I set out to do. The road taught me things wins and losses never could. Injuries. Setbacks. Things completely outside my control. And then two days before the first game against App State of my D1 season — I got called into the coach’s office and was told I was Ineligible due to a paperwork error on my transfer. Just like that, the chance to play was gone. That moment broke something in me and then it built something better. I realized I had wrapped my entire identity around a sport.
When it was taken from me I had to figure out who I actually was without it. That journey changed my life because I’m more than an athlete. and so is every kid who thinks the game is all they have. Far From Over exists because of where I come from. Because my mom gave everything she had and people in our community filled in the gaps. Because I know what it feels like to have the odds stacked against you and just need one person to believe in you and give you a real shot. I built this for that kid. The one who just needs a chance to show what they’re made of
Our team is built on passion, experience, and a genuine commitment to the next generation. We’re here to guide, support, and create real opportunities for young athletes to reach their full potential.
